Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and S. P. Techno Solution Private Limited ("SPTSPL", "we", "us"), India, for the use of Cashflow OS: the Android and iOS apps, the web panel at app.cashflowos.in/web and the Cashflow OS Tally Connector for Windows (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you use it for a business, you confirm you may accept them for that business.

1. What the Service does

The Service shows your business's accounting data, which the Tally Connector reads from TallyPrime on your PC: ledgers, statements, outstanding bills, cash and bank, and reports. If you switch it on for a company in the Tally Connector, vouchers you create in Cashflow OS are added to that TallyPrime company. TallyPrime remains your books of account; Cashflow OS is a view of them and a convenient way to enter vouchers.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with a mobile number you control. Keep your phone and any device you approve (such as a browser signed in by QR code) secure; actions taken from them are treated as yours.
  • You decide who joins your company in Cashflow OS and what role they have, and you can remove them at any time.
  • Tell us straight away at the address below if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Your data and your responsibilities

  • Your accounting data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You must have the right to the data you connect, including any personal data of your customers and suppliers held in your books, and a valid TallyPrime licence.
  • Figures are only as accurate and as recent as your Tally books and the last sync. Check important figures in TallyPrime before relying on them, for example before filing returns or making payments.
  • Vouchers created through Cashflow OS are entered in your books on your instruction. You are responsible for checking them, as you would be for entries made in Tally directly. Tally checks each voucher, and we show you its reply, but we do not give accounting, tax or legal advice.
  • Do not use the Service unlawfully, to send spam, to access other people's data, to interfere with its operation, or to copy or resell it.

4. Fees

The Service is currently free of charge. We may introduce paid plans or features; we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before anything you use becomes chargeable, and you can choose not to continue. Taxes on any fees will be as required by Indian law.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". It may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or by events outside our control, and features may change. We will give notice of changes that significantly reduce what you can do.

6. Our responsibility

  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by inaccurate data in your books, by vouchers you created, or by your devices or Tally installation.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

7. Ownership

The Service, its software and its design belong to SPTSPL. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it while these terms apply. TallyPrime is a trademark of Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; Cashflow OS is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tally Solutions.

8. Ending

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account, or see how to delete your account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. When an account is deleted, its data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute with you directly; if we cannot, the courts at the place of SPTSPL's registered office in India have exclusive jurisdiction.
